Remembrance Day Service 2018

Posted by Barbara Nadin on 14 November 2018

The names of servicemen who were connected to this Church and who lost their lives in the 1914/18 conflict were remembered

The church was beautifully decorated to as a tribute to the lives lost in conflict during the last century.  To commemorate the 100 year anniversary since the end of the First World War candles were lit and as the names of servicemen who lost their lives and who were connected to this Church were read out, crosses were planted in the soil.

The Standard from Melbourne British Legion was also raised diuring the evening service.
