Harvest display during 2024 Festival Weekend

Local friends and visitors from all over the country showed great pleasure in visiting the church during the Melbourne Arts and Crafts Festival. Over twenty stories and events from the Bible were depicted by knitted figures with explanations of the stories beside each scene. A large display of fresh fruit and vegetables took centre stage inside the Communion rail. Statements of appreciation filled several pages of our visitors book and our catering staff in the church hall were kept busy throughout the weekend serving refreshments. Knitted items from our two Busy Hands Knitting and Crocheting groups were on sale, doing a very good trade on baby items, novelties and winter accessories. A very successful weekend.
