Newmount Brass Band service

Over 20 musicians from Newmount Brass Band, Derby, led the congregation in hymn singing, prayers & readings on Palm Sunday, 25th March 2018. The band visit Melbourne URC on this date each year as part of their birthday celebrations. As usually happens, the service was followed by refreshments and a celebratory cake. Members of the Church and visitors in the congregation enjoyed singing along to the special Palm Sunday hymns, listening to instrumental items and readings before joining the birthday celebrations.
