The Church was awarded the "Child Friendly Church" plaque by Mrs Jane Henderson, the Youth and Children's Officer of the East Midlands URC Synod. This was preceded by a Talent Show presented by some of the children of this Church's Pilot Group which meets every fortnight on a Friday evening.
